The history of the teleservice group goes back to 1985 when two Danes established Telecenter Esbjerg in Denmark. The company was dealing in sales and service of radio communication equipment, preferably closed radio systems. However, concurrently with the development within the mobile telephone business, the company focussed increasingly on activities connected to this field.
In 1992, Telecenter Esbjerg was authorised to carry out warranty repairs for Nokia Mobira (now NOKIA), and later, this brand was joined by others such as Ericsson (now Sony Ericsson), Motorola, Alcatel and Bosch (now Siemens).
In the following years, the teleservice concept was spread to the rest of Denmark 5 new departments were established.

1997 became an important year for teleservice International. In order to expand and take advantage of new business opportunities in Europe, teleservice International was formed as a joint venture between teleservice and Dangaard International (now Dangaard Telecom).
